Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75-441
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT NO. 402 - N.E. WATER MAIN TRUNK LOOP
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of the Northeast Trunk Water Main
between the following points: 21 to approximately 1700 feet south, 2J to 2K, 2K to 2M,
2M to 1H, 1H to IE and IE to 1F; as shown in the Report on Water Distribution for Plymouth
Minnesota 1972 and a portion of the Northeast Trunk Water Main between points lI to 1F,
IF to 1B; in accordance with the Water Distribution Report for Plymouth, Minnesota
dated 1972 and all necessary appurtenances and the contract price for such improvement
is $ 603,59S 70and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said
improvement amount to $ 82.732.44 so that the total cost of the improvement will be
$ 686.328.14 and of this cost the City will pay $ 0-00 as its share of the cost,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH.
MINNESOTA,
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be
$ 686,328.14.
2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main. pumping
and storage facilities for the above referenced project shall applied to the
existing land use zoning:
WATER
Area Charaes
Residential
Commercial -Industrial
$250 per � acre lot; $500/acre
$750 per acre
3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate
the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every
assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected without regard
to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such
proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection.
4. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council
thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils,
Seibold and Spaeth
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
