Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved

RESOLUTION NO. 75-439
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
PROJECT NO. 401 NORTHEAST TRUNK SEWER
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of: 1) Northeast Sanitary Sewer
Interceptor between points 5 to 5C,.5C to 6 and 6 to approximately 4000 feet north
(approximately 49th Avenue North) as shown in the report on the Comprehensive
Sewer Plan for Plymouth and Supplement thereto dated July 22, 1973, Alternate Plan B
and the Lancaster Lane Lift Station and Force Main, and the contract price for such
improvement is $ 386,133.69 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the
making of said improvement amount to $50,810.31 so that the total cost of the
improvement will be $436,944.00 and of this cost the City will pay $252,736.72
as its share of the cost,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be
$$4 ,207.28.
2. It is further determined that the following charges for sanitary sewer trunk force
main, lift station and inter',,ptor facilities for the above referenced project
shall be applied to the existing land use zoning:
SEWER
Area Charge
Residential
Commercial -Industrial
$250 per ;j acre lot; $500/acre
$750 per acre
3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate
the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every
assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard
to cash valuation, as provided by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed
assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection.
4. The Clerk shall upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council
thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Seibold , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
