HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-4380 a CITY OF PLYMOUTH 10 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t e 18th day of August 1975 The following members were present: rs were absent: none introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75-438 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT 304-001 HUGHES -JOHNSON ADDITIONS STREETS WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of the streets in the Hughes First and Second Additions and the Roger L. Johnson Addition by the installation of bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances, and the contract price for such improvement is $79;819'.25 and Lhe expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $ 3,371°.14 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $ 93,190.39 and of this cost the City will pay 4 0.00 as its share of the cost, NOW TaFREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $ 93,190.39. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district- affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shalt, upon the completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by and :upon vote being taken thereon, the following vo e n favor ereo :_ j$avo: J{i1de. Councilmen Hunt.Kes. The following voted against or abstained; none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
