HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-437W CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of August 1. 1975 . The following members were present: ng memoers were none Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75- 437 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT PROJECT NO. 304 HUGHES -JOHNSON ADDITIONS UTILITIES . WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of the streets in the Hughes First and Second Additions and the Roger L. Johnson Addition by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, drainage facilities and necessary appurtenances, wj lift station and the contract price for such improvement is $179,049.87 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $45,553.24 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $ 225,103.11 and of this cost the City will pay $ 0.00 as its share of the cost, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MI 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $ 225,103.11. 2. It is further determined that the following charges for water trunk main, pumping and storage facilities, sanitary sewer trunk force main, lift station and interceptor facilities for the above referenced project shall be applied to the existing land use zoning: WATER Area Charges Residential Commercial -Industrial SEWER Area Charges Residential Commercial -Industrial $250 per 2 acre lot; $500/acre $750 per acre $250 per 2 acre lot $750 per acre RESOLUTION NO. 75-437 • Page 2 3. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valgation, as provided by law, and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. 4. The Clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: ayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: none Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
