HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-415CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t e 18th day of August , 19 75 . The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt Neils Spaeth and Seibold The following mem ers were absent: none Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved Ti—s-a-doption: RESOLUTION #75- 415 APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT-JEROME BEGIN'S SANITARY LANDFILL AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF COUNTY ROAD 9 AND I-494 (A-259) WHEREAS, Jerome Begin has requested approval of a Conditional Use Permit to continue the operation of a sanitary landfill at the southeast corner of County Road 9 and I-494; and, WHEREAS, the Plymouth Planning Commission has reviewed said request and does recommend approval; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the request of Jerome Begin for approval of a Condi tional Use Permit to continue the operation of a sanitary landfill at the southeast cornertof County Road 9 and I-494 is hereby approved subject to the following conditions: 1. No garbage. 2. No burning. 3. Attendant during open hours. 4. Nightly covering with six inches of appropriate soil. 5. No toxic wastes or solvents. 6. Permit application approval by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and the Hennepin County Public Works Department Environ- mental Division. 7. That enforcement procedures be implemented by the City, County and Pollution Control Agency to insure that the conditions specified and the operation procedures called for are not violated. 8. That this permit is to expire on June 30, 1976. RESOLUTION NO. 75-415 Page 2 The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Keils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voLL14 in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils and Spaeth The following voted against or abstained: Counce man Seibold voted nay Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. *** *** art
