RESOLUTION NO. 75 -346
ACCEPTING BIDS
PROJECT NO. S19 PLAYHOUSE INDUSTRIAL PARK SECOND ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of"sancta
water main, storm sewer, 9 ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and>gutte
Playhouse Industrial Park Second Addition (located between Rinchview Lane and h
Lane south of trunk tHighway 55), bids were received, opened,and tabulated acco
to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

Erwin Montgomery Construction Co. $137,563.00
Dawson Construction Co. $220,196.30

WHEREAS, it appears that Northdale Construction of Minneapolis, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder,
NOW 7HCREFQRE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOfAv>
1'`. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached
contract with Northdale Construction of Minneapolis, Minnesota for the construction
of sanitary sewer, water main, storm.sewer, 9 ton bituminous streets with concrete
curb and gutter in the Playhouse Industrial Park Second Addition(located between
Ranchview Lane and Niagara Lane south of Trunk Highway 55) according to the plans and
specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the
City Clerk for the low -bid amount of $118,367.00.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders -the
deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and
the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded
by Councilman Spaeth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold and
1 Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: none. Whereupon the
Resolution was declared passed and adopted.
