Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a requ1jrmeeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 7th day
of JUIX 19 75 . The following members were present:

Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 75-343
COMMENDING PLYMOUTH VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department has continued to grow both
professionally and in size to meet the increased firefighting responsibilities
of a rapidly growing community; and
WHEREAS, the recruitment, training and firefighting work of this Department
have contr4buted significantly to the well-being of all Plymouth citizens, and
WHEREAS, the volunteer firefighters of the Plymouth Volunteer Fire Department
have continued to give willingly of their time and effort to protect the lives
and property of their fellow citizens,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Plymouth does hereby commend each and every member of the Plymouth Volunteer
Fire Department for continued outstanding service in a professional fashion
in protecting the lives and property of their fellow citizens and FURTHER
that the Council expresses its appreciation for the tireless efforts made by
the members of the Department on behalf of their fellow citizens.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Neils 1, and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following vote n favor thereof 7—Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils, Seibold
and Spaeth.
The following voted against or abstained: none.
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passe and adopted.
