Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a _regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on tFFe 7th day

Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 75=339
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY CONDITION AND LOWERING WATER BY MEANS OF PUMPING
WHEREAS, the above average rainfall accumulated over the past weeks has created an
emergency condition on several ponding areas and/or lakes within the City of Plymouth.

March 1973,
1. PL -P1 (Parkers Lake)
2. HC -P1, HL -P2 (Pinetree Pond/Olive-Merrimac Pond)
WHEREAS, because of these high water levels the City Council deems it appropriate
to declare an emergency condition exists and finds it is in the best interest of
the City's health and welfare to lower the water to the normal water elevation as
shown in said plan by means of pumping,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that,
1. The Public Works Department is to take the necessary steps to secure pumps,
piping, etc. to pump the following ponds:
a. Parkers Lake - PL -P1
b. Pinetree Pond/Olive - Merrimac Pone - HC-P1/HL-P2
2. The cost of pumping will be paid for from the Sinking Fund which will be replaced
at some future date from the ad valorem Watershed District tax.
3. The staff is to prepare a Storm Drainage program in time for review of the five
year C.I.P.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
