The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, I� Seibold and Spaeth The of owing members were a sent: Councilman Neils fes* Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved s a option: RESOLUTION NO. 75-283 ACCEPTING BIDS PROJECT NO. 417 - IMPERIAL HILLS 6TH ADDITION PROJECT NO. 502 - MAPLEDELL ADDITION PROJECT NO. 517 - MAPLECREEK ADDITION WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the following projects: A PROJECT 502 - 1) an extension of the portion of the South District Sanitary Sewer Interceptor from the intersection of 27th Avenue and Dunkirk Lane then easterly approximately 1400 feet then northerly 1700 feet to point 51A (Mapledell Trunk) as shown on the report of the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, Minnesota dated 1972 and 2) on Comstock Lane, 29th Avenue and Black Oaks Lane all within the Mapledell First Addition by the construction of sanitary sewer, water main, drainage structures and 7 ton bituminous streets with curbing and all necessary appurtenances, B PROJECT 517 - streets in the Maple Creek Plat by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, 7 ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter and necessary storm drainage facilities and all necessary appurtenances, C PROJECT 417 - 24th Avenue North and T.H. 101 in Imperial Hills 6th Addition by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer and 7 ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter and all necessary appurtenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: SECTION A SECTION B SECTION C BIDDER Project 502 Project 517 Project 417 TOTAL BID Austin P. WHEREAS, the Developer of the Maple Creek Plat, Project 517, is not able to furnish the City with the necessary security required in the Development Contract and in accordance with City Ordinances and regulations, therefore this Section B of the total project is not being awarded, and Reso. 75=293 � Page 2 WHEREAS, it appears that G.L. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with G.L. Contracting, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for the improvement of: Project 502 - 1) an extension of the portion of the South District Sanitary Sewer Interceptor from the intersection of 27th Avenue and Dunkrik Lane then easterly approximately 1400 feet then northerly 1700 feet to point 51A (Mapledell Trunk) as shown on the report of the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, Minnesota dated 1972 and, 2) on Comstock Lane, 29th Avenue and Black Oaks Lane all within the Mapledell First Addition by the construction of sanitary sewer, water main, drainage structures and 7 -ton bituminous streets with curbing and all necessary appurtenances Project 417 - 24th Avenue North and T.H. 101 in Imperial Hills 6th Addition by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, and 7 -ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter and all necessary appurtenances, according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. 2. Section C. Maple Creek Addition, Project 517, is not awarded. 3. The City C1erK is hereby authorize and 2lrecteE ib'rSeturn forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowerst bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmen Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Seibold and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: none. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ttt
