RESOLUTION NO. 75-257 AWARDING BIDS PROJECT NO. 513 INTERCEPTOR SEWER LIFT STATION $ TO LIFT STATION A WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement of bids for the improvement of sanitary sewer trunk line from Lift Station l to Lift Station A in accordance with the Comprehensive Sanitary Sewer Plan for the City of Plymouth, bids were received on May 16, 1975, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: BIDDER BASE BID ALT # 1 ALT #2 Austin P. Keller Construction of St. Paul, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA 1. The Mayor and Clerk are authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Austin P. Keller Construction of St. Paul, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota for the improvement of Sanitary Sewer Trunk Line from Lift Station 1 to Lift Station A in accordance with the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for the City of Plymouth. Minnesota according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk for the low bid amount of $503,138.60. plus Alternate No. 1 in the amount of $1,500.00 and Alternate No. 2 in the amount of $1,500.00 making a total low bid $506,138.60. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposit made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ,rr,r C�
