RESOLUTION NO. 75-219
RECEIVING REPORT AND ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING
PROJECT NO. 514 GREENTREE WEST ADDITION
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted May 5, 1975 a report has been
prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. with reference to the
improvement of the streets in the Greentree West Addition including the following: 30th
Avenue between Brockton Lane and Xanthus Lane; 27th Avenue between Brockton Lane and Zircon
Lane; Alvarado Lane between 30th Avenue and Brockton Lane; Xanthus Lane between Zircon
Lane and County Road 24; Zircon Lane south of 27th Avenue to the south line of the Greentree
West Addition and the following cul-de-sacs; Alvaracb Lane north to 30th Avenue; Alvarado
Lane south to 27th Avenue; 26th Avenue west of Zircon Lane; 27th Avenue southeast of Xac,thus
Lane; 28th Avenue southeast of Xanthus Lane; also Brockton Lane between County Road 24
and approxmately 1400 feet south of County Road 24, a portion lying outside of the plat
by the intallation of sanitary sewer, water, streets, including concrete curb and gutter,
.storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances, together with City trunk facilities previously
installed, and this report was received by the Council on May 5, 1975,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with the
report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the costs of
the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953,
Ch. 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of $917,211.00.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 2nd day of June, 1975,
at the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North,
at 7:30 p.m. The Clerk shall give mailed and published notice as required by law
of the proposed hearing and improvement.
3. This project is to be financed from the construction fund.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Hunt, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Seibold and Spaeth.
The following voted against or abstained: None.
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
