Councilman Apils Introduced the following Resolution and moved its
adoption.
RESOLUTION NO. 75-204
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, COMBINING PROJECTS FOR BIDDING PURPOSES,
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
PROJECT NO. 501 - FERNBROOK LANE
PROJECT NO. 518 - PLYMOUTH FREEWAY CENTER
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolutionipassed by the Council on December 9, 1975, Bonestroo,
Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. has prepared plans and specifications for the
improvement of Fernbrook Lane between T.H. 55 and approximately 1000 feet north (north
line of Lot 1, Block 2, Fox Meadows First Addition), by the construction of 9 ton bituminous
street with concrete curb and gutter, drainage structures and all necessary appurtenances,
and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval,
WHEREAS, Bonestroo, Rosene,Anderlik and Associates, Inc. have p.epared plans and specificat-
ions for the improvement of the streets in the Plymouth Freeway Center Addition by the
installation of sanitary sewer, water main, 9 ton bituminous street with necessary storm
drainage facilities and all necessary appurtenances, and have presented such plans and
specifications to the Council for approval,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:`)
Projects No. 501 and 518 are combined for bidding purposes.
2. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof, are hereby approved.
The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in
the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement
under such approve pans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published
for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be
received by the Clerk until 10:30 a.m. on May 16, 1975 at which time they will be
publicly opened in the Council Chambers at the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd
Avenue North by the City Manager and the City Engineer and will be considered by the
Council at 7:30 p.m. on May 19, 1975, in the Council Chambers; and that no bids
will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash
deposit, cashiers check, bid bond, or certified check payable to the City Clerk
for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman
Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:

abstained: none. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
