CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
.Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the qday of April
1975 . The following members were present Acting Mayor Spaeth. Councilmen Neils _

RESOLUTION NO. 75-197
ACCEPTING BIDS - PROJECT NO. 503 - NATHAN LANE STREET IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisment for bids for the improvement of Nathan Lane between
County Road 9 and 49th Avenue to consist of 9 ton bituminous street construction, concrete
curb and gutter with related storm sewer construction between County Road 9 and 45th Avenue
together with revisions to the frontage road on County Road 9; and gravel base construction
between 45th Avenue and 49th Avenue, bids were received on April 18, 1975, opened, and
tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Bury and Carlson, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:*
I. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract
with Bury and Carlson, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth
Minnesota for the improvement of Nathan Lane between County Road 9 and 49th Avenue to
to consist of 9 ton bituminous street construction with concrete curb and gutter and
related storm sewer construction; between County Road 9 and 45th Avenue together with
revisions to the frontage road on County Road 9; and oravel base construction between
45th Avenue and 49th Avenue; in the amount of $86,774.80, according to the plans and
specifications therefor approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the €_
City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the r
deposit made with their bids except that the deposit of the successful bidder and the
next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
