HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-181CITY OF PLYMOUTH; 101ursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was e d on the 21st day of April 1975 The following members were present: Acting Mayor t- rminnilmPn The fo lowing members were a sentry,,, Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75-181 DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT PLAYHOUSE INDUSTRIAL PARK 2ND ADDITION PROJECT NO. 519 WHEREAS, the City Council has received a petitbn from Delos Taylor, President of Playhouse Company, Inc., for the installation of sewer, water and streets in the Playhouse Industrial Park Second Addition and WHEREAS, the developer waives all right to public improvement hearings.and special assessment hearings, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA 1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of the streets in the Playhouse Industrial Park Second Addition by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, streets and necessary storm sewer construction, filed with the Council on April 21, 1975, is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformance to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.035. 2. The petitioner waives all right to public improvement hearing and special assessment hearings. 3. The petition is hereby referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and a5 to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.' 4. The cost of said improvement is to be financed from the construction fund. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in avor thereof ActiRaavor Hunt, Coymcilmen Neils.
