HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-168W CITY OF PLYMOUTH W Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 7th day of AD ri , 19�,�, The following members were present: ra,,, , ng members were absent: none _ introduced the following Resolution and moved its a op ons RESOLUTION NO. 75-168 RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING MEDICINE RIDGE IMPROVEMENT - PROJECT NO. 509 WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted October 21, 1974, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and 'Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of the following streets: a) 28th Avenue from the cul-de-sac west of Pilgrim Lane to Quaker Lane b) 27th Avenue cul-de-sac west of Pilgrim Lane c) 27th Avenue cul-de-sac west of Quaker Lane d) Quaker Lane from 28th Avenue to approximately 600 feet south to terminus in cul-de-sac e) Pilgrim Lane from approximately 200 feet north of 28th Avenue to approximately 1100 feet south of 28th Avenue f) curb and gutter south sides of Lots 1 and 2, Block 1 and Block 2, and upgrade existing Pilgrim Lane surface to 7 ton design, all within the proposed plat of Medicine Ridge Addition; and on the east side 'of Quaker Lane from 28th Avenue to approximately 600 feet south to terminus #n cul-de-sac; and on the north side of 28th Avenue from Pilgrim Lane to Quaker Lane, said streets being adjacent to said Medicine Ridge Addition; by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage facilities and all necessary appurtenances, and this report was received by the Council on April 7, 1975, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such streets in accordance with this report and the assessment of the abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 429.011 to 429.11 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398, as amended) and the estimated total cost of the improvement is $237,917.00. 2. A public hearing shall be held an such improvement on the 28th day of April, 1975 in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North at 7:30 p.m. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
