HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-136CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a re(iular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t e 17th da of March 19 The following members were present: y ng members were t*� Councilman Neils introdured the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 75-136 APPROVING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ADVERTISING FOR BIDS PROJECT NO. 504 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the Council on December 16, 1974, the City's Consulting Engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates. Inc., has prepared plans and specifications for the improvement of Zachary Lane between County Road 9 and 36th Avenue by the construction of an initial 7 ton bituminous rural street section without concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, water main and all necessary appurtenances, and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval; • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are -hereby approved. 2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted into the official paper and in the Construction Bulletin all advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement un er such approv p ans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published for three days, shalt specify the work to be done, shall staft that bids will be received, by the Clerk until 10:00 a.m, on ,rfday, April 18. 1975 at which time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers at the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North by the City Manager and City Engineer and will be considered by the Council at 7.30 p.m. on April 21. 1975 in the Council Chambers; and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed wii„ the`Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashiers check, bid bond, or certified check payable, to the City Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Co nci Man 14iint , and upon vote being taken thereon, the oa�glinpletQte in favor thereof:— mayor Hilde.
