Councilman Hunt introdured the following Resolution and
move 'its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 75-135
APPROVING FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
ADVERTISING FOR BIDS
PROJECT NO. 503
WHEREAS. pursuant to resolution passed by the Council on December 9, 1974, the City
Consulting Engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene. Anderlik and Associates. Inc, has prepared plans
and specifications for the improvement of Nathan Lane between County Road 9 and 49th
Avenue to consist of 9 ton bituminous street construction. concrete curb and gutter with
related storm: sewer construction between County Road 9 and 45th Avenue together with
revisions to the frontage road on County Road 9; and gravel base construction between
45th Avenue and 49th Avenue, and has presented such plans and specifications to the
Council for approval;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVE6 BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH.MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications. a copy of whibh is attached hereto and made a part
hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted into the official paper and in
the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids on the making of such improvement _
under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published
for three days, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be
received by the Clerk until 10:30 a.m, on Friday, April 18, 1975 at which time
they will be pu`•licly opened in the Council Chambers at the City Public Works Building
at 14900, 23rd Avenue North by the City Manager and City Engineer and will be considered'
by the Council at 7:30 p.m. on April 21, 1975 in the Council Chambers and that no
bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by
a cash deposit, cashiers check, bid bond or a certified check payable to the City
Clerk for five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
' Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted In favor t ereof: Councilmen Nsilc and Hunt and Mayor.Hilde
The following voted against orabstained:
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adop ed.
