Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, are�ular� meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 6th day
of January , 1975 . The following members were present: Mvor hllde,
Counci Imen un eTTs, SeT6oTd and Spaeth
efiF-7ollowling membens were absent: none `
Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and
moved adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 75-39
APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH LOCAL 49 IUOE
WHEREAS, the City Manager and representatives of Local 49 representing certain
hourly employees in the City Public Works Department have met to negotiate wage
and benefit levels for 1975 in accordance with the Labor Agreement in existence
between the parties, and
WHEREAS„ the City Manager in his report dated January 3, 1975, has indicated that a
tentative agreement has been reached between himself and the Union representatives
for a two-year agreement, and
WHEREAS„ the local bargaining unit has indicated their acceptance of the tentative
agreement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
that the amendments to the contract negotiated by and between the City Manager
and representatives of Local 49 as reported in his report of January 3, 1975, be
and the same are hereby approved.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt,
Neils, Seibold and Spaeth
The following voted against or abstained: none
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
