HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1975-027Mr CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t e 6th day of January 19 75 The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, CoUnclimen Hunc, SeT6oTd and Spaeth The following members were absent: none trt�,t #rt *irt Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its a cption: RESOLUTION NO. 75-27 ACCEPTING PRELIMINARY REPORT AND ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING - PROJECT NO. 416 - CARLSON COMPANIES ADDITION IMPROVEMENTS WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted September 30, 1975, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of Xenium Lane from approximately 1300 feet south of the Chicago - Northwestern Railroad tracks to the new alignment of County Road 15 as shown on the plat of Carlson Companies Addition; on 13th Avenue North between Xenium Lane and Peripheral Road; on Berkshire Lane between the new alignment of County Road 15 and 13th Avenue, all as shown in the plat of Carlson Companies Addition by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, 9 -ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, and all necessary appurtenances, and this report was received by the Council on January 6, 1975. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398, as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,078,654.00. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 10th day of February, 1975, in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building, 14900 23rd Avenue North, at 7:30 P.M., and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
