HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-600a • CITY OF PLYMOUTH • Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota,, was held on tie l6th d of December lg 74 The following members were present: � Hilde, councl Inen Hunt, , e 1s,-TeMold and Spaeth The following members were absent: none Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved Its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-600 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS PROJECT NO. 505 - SCHMIDT LAKE UTILITIES WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 2nd day of December, 1974 fixed the date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of: A portion of the North Central Sanitary Sewer Interceptor between the following points. 15A to 15 15 to 16 16 to 16C 10 16C to 16A 16A to 16B (from a point on 36th Avenue North approximately 2600 feet west of Zachary Lane; thence in a northwesterly direction to the approximate intersection of Larch Lane and County Road 9; thence norti;erly along Larch Lane to approximately 1400 feet north of 45th Avenue) as shown on the report on the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, Minnesota 1972 and subsequent report Supplement on the Comprehensive Sewer Plan fo- Plymouth, Minnesota 1973, Alternate B: Water main trunk from the intersection of 36th Avenue and Jonquil Lane north to the intersection of Larch Lane and County Road 9 and further along Larch Lane from County Road 9 to a point approximately 1400 feet north of 45th Avenue. Sanitary sewer lateral, water main lateral, 7 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter on 45th Avenue from Larch Lane easterly and northerly to the terminus in the cul-de-sac in the plat of Shorewood Acres Addition. Larch Lane between County Road 9 and approximately 1400 feet north of 45th Avenue by the construction of 9 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage facilities, and all necessary appurtenances, WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon on the 16th day of December, 1574 at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: Resolution No. 74-600 Page Two • 1. Such improvements as noted below are hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adoptedDecember 16, 1974 a. A portion of the North Central Sanitary Sewer Interceptor between the following points: 15A to 15 15 to 16 16 to 16C 16C to 16A 16A to 16B (from a point on 36th Avenue North approximately 2600 feet west of Zachary Lane; thence in a northwesterly direction to the approximate intersection of Larch Lane and County Road 9; thence northerly along Larch Lane to approximately 1400 feet north of 45th Avenue) as shown on the report on the Compeehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, Minnesota 1972 and subsequent report Supplement on the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, Minnesota 1973, Alternate B; b. Water main trunk on Larch Lane from County Road 9 to approximately 1400 feet north of 45th Avenue. c. Sanitary sewer lateral, water main lateral, 7 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter on 45th Avenue from Larch Lane easterly and northerly to the terminus in the cul-de-sac in the plat of Shorewood Acres Addition. . d. Larch Lane between County Road 9 and 45th Avenue by the construction of a 24 foot wide interim bituminous rural section street, necessary storm drainage facilities, and e. all necessary appurtenance. 2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. are hereby designated as engineer for the improvements. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Council- man Hunt, and upon vote being taken thereon, the followinq voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: none. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
