HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-598CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 16th day of December 19 74 . The following members were present:_Ma�cor owing members mere absent: none winr Councilman Spaeth introdured the following Resolution and movea its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-598 ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS PROJECT NO. 502 MAPLEDELL TRUNK SEWER AND WATER AND SEWER LATERALS IN MAPLEDELL FIRST ADDITION WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 18th day of November, 1974 sets the date for Council hearing on the proposed improvement of 1) An extension of the portion of the South District Sanitary Sewer Interceptor from the intersection of 27th Avenue and Dunkirk Lane then easterly approximately 1400 feet then northerly 1700 feet to point 51A (MapirJell Trunk) as shown on the report of the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, Minnesota dated 1972, and 2) On Comstock Lane, 29th Avenue, and Black Oaks Lane all within the Mapledell First Addition by the construction of sanitary sewer, water main, drainage structures and 7 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter and all necessary appurtenances, and WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon on the 16th day of December, 1974 at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted December 16, 1974. 2. Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. are designated as engineer for this improvement. .He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement; the final plans and specifications shall include three (3) alternate designs for curbing (concrete curb and gutter, bituminous formed curb, bituminous paver spilled type so that the Council can evaluate the costs of same. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by . Councilman Neils , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following vote In favor thereof; Mavor Hilde_ rnunrilman Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth The o owing vote against orabstained: n n Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
