AWARDING BIDS ON PROJECT 401-001
LANCASTER LANE LIFT STATION
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the Lancaster
Lane Lift Station, Project 401-001, as part of -the Northeast Sanitary Sewer Trunk Improvem-
ent, bids were received on November 8, 1974, opened and tabulated according to law, and
the following bids were received complying with the advertisement,

WHEREAS, it appears that Northern Contracting of Minneapolis, Minnesota 1s the lowest
responsible bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, N
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract
with Northern Contracting of Minneapolis, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth;'
for the improvement of the Lancaster -Lane Lift Station, Project 401-001, as part of the
Northeast Sanitary Sewer Trunk Improvement, according -to the plans and specifications
therefor approved by the City Council and od-file in the office of the City Clerk
in the low bid amount of $129,867.00, Alternate Bid Q.
• 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to bidders the
deposits made with their bids except that the deposits of the successful bidder and
the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
