The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract with Northern Contracting of Minneapolis, Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth;' for the improvement of the Lancaster -Lane Lift Station, Project 401-001, as part of the Northeast Sanitary Sewer Trunk Improvement, according -to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the City Council and od-file in the office of the City Clerk in the low bid amount of $129,867.00, Alternate Bid Q. • 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to bidders the deposits made with their bids except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
