ORDERING PRELIMINARY REPORT FOR
PROJECT 505 SCHMIDT LAKE IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS,•1t is proposed to extend a portion of the North Central Sanitary Sewer Interceptor
between the following points: 15A to 15
15 to 16
16 to 16C
16C to 16A
16A to 166
(from a point on 36th Avenue North approximately 2600 feet west of Zachary Lane; thence 1n
a northwesterly directl'on to the approximate intersection of Larch Lane and County Road -9;
thence norterly along Larch Lane to approximately 1400 feet north of 45th Avenue) as shown
on the report on the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth. Minnesota 1972 and subsequent
report supplement on the Comprehensive Sewer Plan for Plymouth, Minnesotd. 1973, Alternate 8,
WHEREAS. 1t is proposed to construct water main trunk from the intersectim of 36th Avenue
and Jonquil Lane north to the lntersectlon,91 Larch lane and'County Road 9 End further -
along Larch Lane from County Road 9 to a point approximately 1400 feet north of 45th Adenue,
WHEREAS, it is proposed to construct sanitary sewer lateral, water main lateral, and 7 ton
bituminous street with concrete curb end gutter on 45th Avenue from Larch Lane easterly and
northerly to the terminus 1n the cul-de"sac in the plat of Shorewood Acres Addition, and
WHEREAS', it is proposed to improve Larch Lane between County Road 9 and approximately 1400
feet north of -45th Avenue by the construction of 9 ton bituminous street with concrete
curb and gutter, and storm drainage'faci11ties and all necessary appurtenance, and
WHEREAS, it is proposed to assess the benefitting properties for all or a portion of the
cost of the improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111
(Laws 1953. Ch. 398 as amended)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
that the proposed improvement be -referred to Bonestroo, Rrsene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc.
. for study and that he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed
advising the Council in a preliminary way ps to whether the proposed improvement is feasible,-
and
easible.and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other
improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recdmmended.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman
Neils. and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting
Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils and Seibold. The following voted against or abstained:
none. Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. -
