The following members were present: Mayor _ were absent: Councilman Seibold Councilman Sipaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved Tfi—Roption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-471 ORDERING REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT - T.H. 101 AND T.H. 12 APPROXIMATELY 1000 FEET NORTH OF COUNTY ROAD 6 WHEREAS, T.H. 101 within the City df Plymouth is on the Federal Aid Urban Highway System MA.U.) and WHEREAS, pursuant to a request by the Systems Development Committee of the Transportation Planning Program the City of Plymouth submitted a proposed Federal Aid Urban Project for 1974, said project being T.H. 101 between T.H. 12 and approximately 1000 feet north of County Road 6, and WHEREAS, the Transportation Advisory Board to Metropolitan Council adopted a resolution on September 25, 1974, said resolution approving the use of F.A.U. funds for transporation improvement projects, and WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth's project on T.H. 101 between T.H. 12 and approxi- mately 1000 feet north of County Road 6 was included on this approved list of projects for 1975 funding, and WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve T.H. 101 between T.H. 12 and approximately 1000 feet north of County Road 6 by the construction of sanitary sewer, water main. storm sewer.-, 9 ton bitW nous street with concrete curb and gutter, side- walks and all necessary appurtenances, and to utilize F.A.U. funds as well as assess the benefitting property for a portion of the cast of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398 as amended), NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ttat the proposed improvement be referred to Bonestroo. Rosen , Anderlik and Associates for study, and they are instructed to report to the Council with all convenient 4peeiU%Advlslpg the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. t: W The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being oaken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils and Spaeth. the following voted against or abstained: none.
