Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 30th day
of Seetember , 19 74 The following members were present: RayoF
Hilde. Councilmen Hunt.7Res and Spaeth

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 74-463
APPROVING TIME EXTENSION FOR PROJECT NO. 302 - WATER TREATMENT PLANT
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has entered into a contract with the contractor,
Berglund -Johnson, Inc., for the construction of a water treatment plant. Project 302,
WHEREAS, due to circumstances beyond the control of the contractor, the start of
the project was delayed, and
WHEREAS, the contractor extended the time per the City's request without an
increase in price but could not hold the time of completion firm because of long
delivery dates on most items in the contract, and
WHEREAS, the contractor received a signed contract from the owner on August 22, 1974
and the contractor was able to start work, on August ?.9, 1974 instead of the proposed
k1uly 15, 1974 date (total of 42 days),
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
`MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and the Manager are authorized to approve the Change Order
No. i to Project 302 thereby extending the completion date to September 26, 1975.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Neils anduponvote being taken thereon, the
following voted in favor thereof. Mayor Hilde .Councilmen Hunt, Neils
