RESOLUTION NO. 74-436
FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
34TH AVENUE STREETS
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 9 1974
the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost
of improving 34th Avenue between Kilmer Lane and Pilgrim Lane by the
construction of a 7 ton bituminous street with concrete curb and gutter
and necessary appurtenances. and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has
been completed and 'filed in the office of the Clerk for public inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY REZOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 30th day of September 1974 in the
City Council Chambers of the City Public Works Building. 14900 23rd
Avenue North, at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at
such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement
will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment.
2.. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the
-proposed assessment to be p�jbiished once in -the official newspaper at least
two weeks prior to the hearing, and shalt state in the notice the total
cost of the improvement. The Clerk shalt also cause mailed notice to be
given to the owner of each parcel described in.the assessment roll.
The motion for the adoption of the forego4-ng Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Spaeth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Seibold. Neils and Spaeth. The following
voted against or abstained: none. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted.
