Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved

RESOLUTION NO. 74- 427
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING
PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR
34TH AVENUE STREETS
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of 34th Avenue between
Kilmer Lane and Pilgrim Lane by the construction of a 7 ton bituminous
street with concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances, and the
total price for the above referenced project including incidental expenses
amount to $ ZM41.00 and of this cost the City will pay $0.00
as its share of the cost,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $ 28,841. 00
2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement
against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district
affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by the law, and the
Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office of the
-Clerk for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon the completion of such proposed assessment notify
the Council thereof.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoT7Tg Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Seibold, Neils and Spaeth. The following
voted against or abstained: none. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
• passed and adopted.
