Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymnuth, Minnesota, was held on the 19 day

The following mem ers were absent: Councilman Spaeth
Mayor Hil_de introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74-400
REJECTING BIDS ON PROJECT 401-001
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Lancaster
Sanitary Sewer Lift Station and Force Main and all necessary appurtenances in con-
junction with the Northeast Sanitary Sewer Interceptor, bids were received, opened,
and tabulated on August 16, 1974 according to law, and the following bids were received
complying with the advertisement:

Young Construction Co. $274,137.00 $3,676.00
C.S. McCrossan, Inc. $299,141.50 $9,000.00
Acton Construction Co. $314,150.00 $2,940.00
Barbarossa & Sons, Inc. $346,130.00 $5,000.00
AND WHEREAS, the bids came in considerably higher than the Engineer's estimate,
AND WHEREAS, it is the Engineer's recommendation that it is in the best interests of
the City to reject all bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
1. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to notify all contractors that
all bids have been rejected.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing RFsoiution was duly seconded by
Councilman Hunt , and upon vote being taken thereon, the

Whereupon the Pesolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
