HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-393CITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 19 day of August 1974 . The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Counc men Hunt 'Seibold and Neils _ The ioClaao.ng members were absent: Councilman Spaeth councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and movei3 *_s adoption. RESOLUTION NO. 74-393 RECEIVING PETITION AND ORDERING FEASIBILITY REPORT RE ORNAMENTAL STREET LIGHTING :OR THE ROGER L. JOHNSON ADDITION BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1) A certain petition requesting to improvement of the Roger L. Johnson Addition by the installation of street lights, filed with the Council on August 19, 1974 is hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of property . affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.035. 2) The petition is signed by 100% of the owners of property affected thereby and they have waived their right to a public hearing. 3) The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by gouand upon vote being taken thereon, the o owing vote to favor thereof: MMyor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt and Seibold The following voted against or abstained: ncilman Neils Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
