CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a --regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the lg day
of August 19 74 The following members were present: Mayor Hilde,
Councilmen Hunt Seibold and Neils
The following members were absent: Councilman Spaeth

Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74-385
APPROVING CONSTRUCTION OF SMALLER OUTLET PIPE ON THE
CONSTRUCTION PLAN FOR PROJECT NO. 305 - VICKSBURG LANE
WHEREAS, the City has reviewed alternate bids for the storm sewer outlet from
Pond No. GL -P25 (located south of the railroad tracks and west of Vicksburg Lane)
as shown on Figure 13 of Storm Drainage Plan for Plymouth, March 1973; as part
of the Vicksburg Lane Street Improvement Project No. 305, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Engineer that the smaller outlet
pipe would save the City approximately $10,000.00 in construction costs, and
WHEREAS, this storm sewer design would not adversely affect the surrounding
properties and would be consistent with the City's Master Storm Drainage Plan,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
that the City Engineer is directed to construct the smaller outlet pipe from
Pond No. GL -P25 in lieu of the larger pipe shown on the construction plan for
Project No. 305.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the staff is to continue to research the park property
deed so as to remove any restrictions from same and to obtain any necessary storm
drainage easements from the surrounding properties in order to provide the ponding
area consistent with the Master Storm Drainage Report.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by

Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
