R ESOLUTION N O. 2020-142
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING F INDINGS OF F ACT FOR A MENDING
Z ONING O RDINANCE S ECTION 21655 (2019 099)
WHEREAS, Access Development, LLC, has requested approval of a PUD amendment to allow
construction of 61-unit, four-story apartment building at 11229 Highway 55; and
WHEREAS, the affected property is legally described as Lot 1, Block 1, Crossroads Commons
Second Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance amending the zoning ordinance text
related to the PUD amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and does approve the request by Access Development, LLC, for a PUD
amendment to revise Section 21655.39 of Chapter 21 (zoning ordinance) entitiled “Crossroad Commons
PUD” based upon the following findings:
1. The proposed PUD amendment is consistent with the MXD (mixed use) land use designation
of the comprehensive plan.
2. The proposed PUD amendment would meet the purpose and intent of the PUD district.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 14th day of April, 2020.
