Pursuant to d a call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City

RESOLUTION NO. 74-370
ACCENTING BID FOR PROJECT NO. 403
NORTHWESTERN BELL IMPROVEMENTS -
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of Nathan Lane
between 49th Avenue and 51st Avenue; 49th Avenue between Nathan Lane and County
Road 18; 51st Avenue between Nathan Lane and County Road 18 by the installation of
sanitar; sewer, water main, 9 ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter,
storm sewer as required for street construction and all necessary appurtenances bids
were received, opened and tabulated on July 19, 1974 according to law, and the
following bids were received complying with the advertisement:

AND WHEREAS, it appears that C.S. McCrossan of Minneapolis, Minnesota is the lowest
responsible bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH:
l.. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached
contract with C.S. McClrossan, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota in the Name of the
City of Plymouth for the improvement of Nathan Lane between 49th Avenue and 51st
Avenue; 49th Avenue between Nathan Lane and County Road 18; 51st Avenue between
Nathan Lane and County Road 18 by the installation of sanitary sewer, water main,
9 ton bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer a, required

for street constructicn and all necessary appurtenances according to the plans
and specifications thereof approved by the City Council and on file in the
office of the City Clerk for the low bid amount of $240,364.50.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwigh to all
bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the
sucessful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract
has been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seccnded by
Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Seibold and Spaeth. The following
voted against or abstained: none. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed
and adopted.

COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNE:;OTA _
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular
meeting of the Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, Wes
duly held at the Council Chambers in saic City on Monday, the
5th day of August, 1974, at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
The following* members w-rn presents Mayor Hilde,
Councilman Spaeth, Hunt, and Seibuld
and the following were absent: Councilman Neils
The Mayor announced that the next. order of business
would be the consideration of bids for the purchase of $4,000,000
General Obligation Improvement Bonds of 1974, as advertised for
sale.
The City Manager presented affidavits showing publication
of notice of bond sale more than ten days in advance of sale in
the official newspaper and in Commercial West, a financial paper
published in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which affidavits were
examined and found satisfactory and ordered placed on file.'
The City Manager then presented the sealed bids which
had been delivered to him prior to the time specified in the
notice of sale and that said bids were ope:,ed, examined, tabulated
and -found to be as follows:
