Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a r ular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on tFie 5th day of

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
s adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74-368
ACCEPTING BID FOR PROJECT NO. 402 - N.E. WATER MAIN TRUNK LOOP
FROM ERICKSON BROTHERS, INC.
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of the Northeast
Trunk Water Main between the following points: 2J to approximately 1700 feet south,
2J to 2K, 2K to 2M, 2M to 1H. 1H to IE and IE to 1F: as shown in the Report on Water
Distribution for Plymouth. Minnesota, 1972, bids were received, opened, tabulated
on July 25, 1974, according to law, and the following bids were received complying
with the advertisement:

AND WHEREAS. it apped-s that Erickson Brothers, Inc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota is the
lowest responsible bidder,
NOW. THEREFORE, BE .7 HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached
contract with Erickson Brothers. Inc, of Minneapolis. Minnesota in the name of the
City of Plymouth for the improvement of the Northeast Trunk Water Main between the
followingppoints: 2J to approximately 1700 feet south. 2J to 2K. 2K to 2M. 2M to
1H. 1H to lE and IE to 1F. as shown in the Report on Water Distribution for
Plymouth, Minnesota. 1972 according to the plans and specifications therefor
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk for the
low base bid amount of $519,679.55.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders
the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.

The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: -Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt. Seibold and Spaeth. The following
voted against or abstained: none. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly
passed and adopted.
