HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-360CITY OF PLYPOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reaular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of August , 191#_. The following members were present: Mayor Hilder Councilmen Hunt Seibold and S aeth The following members were absent: Councilman Neils _ Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its ac tion: RESOLUTION NO. 74-360 APPROVING LOT DIVISION - TERRANCE SONNEMAN WHEREAS, Terrance Sonneman, owner of Lot 2, Block 10, "Elmhurst" has requested that this lot be further subdivided, and WHEREAS, the City Staff has reviewed said request and recommends apporoval, and WHEREAS, the City Council has now determined that the subdivision of said parcel which contains less than five (5) acres would not interfere with the purposes of the Subdivision Regulations of the City of Plymouth and that a refusal to permit such subdivision would create an unneccessary hardship on such owner. NOW, "HEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLOVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH as follows: 1. Compliance with the provisions of Section 462.358. Subdivision 4, Minnesota Statutes, and Chapter VII of :he City Code as related to the division or consolidation of platted lots'is hereby approved with respect to the following desci-lbed parcels: PARCEL "A" That part of Lot 2, Block 17, "Elmhurst" according to the recorded plat thereof, lying Northeriy of a liner drawn from a point in the East line of tot 10. distant 50 feet Northerly of the Southeast corner thereof as measured along said East line, to a point in the Northwesterly line of said Lot 10, distant 149.12 feet Northeasterly of the Southwest corner of said Lot 10, as measured along said Northwesterly line. PARCEL "B" That part of Lot 2, Block 10, "Elmhurst" according to the recorded plat thereof. lying Southerly of a line drawn from a point in the East line of Lot 10, • RESOLUTION NO. 74-360 Page 2 distant SO feet Northerly of the Southeast corner thereof as measured along said East line, to a point in the Northwesterly line of said Lot 10, distant 149.12 feet northeasterly of the Southwest corner of said Lot 10, as measured along said Northwesterly line. 2. The City Clerk is directed to prepare a certified copy of this Resolution for Recording purposes. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilda, Councilmen Hunt, Seibold and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: none. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopts.
