HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-349CITY OF PLYt.OUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on We 22nd day of July 19 74 The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, councilmen Hdnt.1Wes, Seibold and Spaeth The following mem _-s were absent: none } Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved Its "adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-349 CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - ALPANA ALUMINUM PRODUCTS, INC. WHEREAS, Alpana Aluminum Products. Inc. has requested a Conditional Use Permit to operate a manufacturing facility engaged in the fabrication of aluminum window frames and curtain walls and the manufacture of curtain wall cleaning equipment in an 1.1 District to be located at the northwest corner of Xenium Lane and County Road 6, and . WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Planning Commission has reviewed said request, NC1, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBYRESOLVEDBY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the request of Alpana Aluminum Products, Inc. for a Conditional Use Permit to operate a manufacturing facility in an I-1 District. located at the northwest - corner of Xenium Lane and County Road 6. be approved. subject to the following conditions: 1. Additional hard -surface parking be provided for 110 cars. Ordinance requires 185 spaces for a building of 65,000 square feet, the approximate size of the RayGo Building. 2. The westerly access on County Road 6 be closed and access on Xenium Lane be subject to the engineer's review, but if open, open as an exit only. 3. All storage of waste, garbage and materials be within the building. 4. That the fence for the storage area bt removed. 5. That the site plan, Exhibit A-581. dated July 22, 1974, be revised to delete the "in only" requirement on the easterly drive on County Road 6. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor. H1 de, Councilmen Hunt, Neils. Seibold and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: none. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. a
