RESOLUTION NO. 74-339
"YOUNG LIFE DAY" AUGUST 3, 1974
WHERFA4; the Young Life Organization, through Christian concern and tireless efforts
of the young adult leaders. has served the high school youth of the area in countless way!
NHEREAS. the parents of the community whose children's lives have been touched and
other adults who have come to know the work of the Young Life staff are deeply grateful
for their efforts;
WHEREAS, from August 1 through August 14 the.parents and adults in the community will
iwlement the first fund-raising campaign to finance the Young Life mission,
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
that the day of Saturday, August 3, is proclaimed to be designated as "Young Life
AND, FURTHER. that the Council extends the hope for success of this special daffy
and for the fund campaign.
