Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved

RESOLUTION NO. 74-306
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, COMBINING PROJECTS N0. 401 AND 402;FOR
PURPOSES OF BIDDING, AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT.OF BIDS
WHEREAS. pursuant to resolutions passed by the Council on April 1, 1974, the
tdN4uliing engineer, Sones.troo, Rosene. Anderlik and Associates, Inc. has prepared
plans and specifications for the improvement -of the following utility extensions:
1. Northeast Sanitary Sewer Interceptor between points 5 tmiSC, 5C to 6 and 6
to approximately 4000 feet north (approximately 49th Avenue North) as shown in
the report on the Comprehensive Sewer plan for Plymouth and Supplement thereto
dated July 22, 1973, Alternate Phan -B and,
2. A portion of the Northeast Trunk Water Main between points lI to 1F. 1F to 1B;
And all necessary appurtenances, and has presented such plans and specifications
to the Council for approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and
in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such
improvemen un er su approved plans and specifications.` The advertisement .
shall be published for two days. shall specify_the work to be done, shall state
that bids will be received by the Clerk until 10:30`AR. on July 12. 1974, ut
which time they will be:publicly opened in the Councii Chambers of the City Hall
located at 14900 23rd Avenue. North. by the City Manager and City Engineer, will

then be tabulated and will be considered by the Council it 7.30 -P.M. on July 15.
1974 in the Council Chambers; and that no bids will be considered unless sealed
and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashiers check,
bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for 6% of the amount of such bid
The motion for the adoption of the -foregoing Resolution -was duly seconded by Councilman
Seibold, and upon vote being. taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The, following voted against
or abstained: none. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
