CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a reeular� meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, waste eld on the 17th day of
June19 74 . The following members were present: Mayor _
Councilmen, unt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
s adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74-304
ACCEPTING BIDS - PROJECT NOS. 408 AND 409 -
34TH AVENUE STREETS -36TH AVENUE SIDEWALKS
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement of 34th Avenue
North between Kilmer Lane and Pilgrim Lane, by the construction of a seven ton
street with concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances and the improvement
of 36th Avenue (south side of street) between County Road 18 and Pilgrim Lane
by the construction of concrete sidewalk and all necessary appurtenances, bids
were received, opened and tabulated according to 1Aw, and the following bids
were received complying with the advertisement:
Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. $34,772.30
Alexander Construction Company $35,414.75
Hardrives, Inc. $40,927.50
C. S. McCrossan, Inc. $41,949.25
AND WHEREAS, it appears that Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. of Buffalo, Minnesota 1s
the lowest responsible bidder,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached
contract with Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. of Buffalo, Minnesota in the nams of the
City of Plymouth for the improvement of 34th Avenue North between Kilmer Lane
and Pilgrim Lane by the construction of a seven ton street with concrete curb
and gutter and necessary appurtenances, AM the improvement of 36th Avenue
(south side of street) between County toad 18 and Pilgrim Lane by the construc-
tion of concrete sidewalk and all necessary appurtenances, according to the
plans

2. The Cid Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders
the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successfully
bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been sued,.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Neils, and upon Mete being taken thereon, the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt,Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following
voted against or abstained: none. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed
and. adopted.
