Seibold and Spaeth ng Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved Its a op ion: RESOLUTION NO. 74-302 AMEPTING BID - PROJECT NO. 304 - HUGHES -JOHNSON ADDITIONS WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisdment for bids for the improvement of streets in the Hughes 1st and 2nd Additions and the Roger L. Johnson Addition by the instal - lotion of sanitary sewer. water, streets, drainage facilities and necessary appur- tenances, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Nodland Asspciates, Inc. $168,504.80 Rauenhorst Corporation $175.553.95 Erwin Montgomery Construction Co. $176.387.25 Peter Lametti, Construction Co. $191,771.20 Bentson 6 Kelly Contractors $195,512.50 American Contracting Corp. $198.836.35 Barbarossa & Sons-, Inc. $201,757.75 Northdale Construction Co. $204,779.60 G. L. Contracting Inc. 5211,780.90 C. S. McCrossan, Inc. $213,271.00 Three -Way Construction Co. $259,572.00 Bianconi Construction Co. $283,714.80 AND WHEREAS, it appears that Nodland Associates, Inc. of Osseo, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract with Nodland Associates, Inc. of Osseo. Minnesota in the name of the City of Plymouth for the improvement of streets in the Hughes Ist and 2nd Addition by the installation of sanitary sewer, water, streets, drainage facilities and necessary appurtenances according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and an file in the office of the City Clerk, 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. Rl3iilitton Page Two The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde. Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: none. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
