HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2020-118 C ITY OF P LYMOUTH R ESOLUTION N O. 2020-118 R ESOLUTION C ALLING FOR H EARING ON P ROPOSED A SSESSMENT FOR THE 2020 S TREET R ECONSTRUCTION P ROJECT (ST209001) WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on March 24, 2020, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost for the improvement th located on 15 Ave from Rosewood Ln to the Hwy 55 Frontage Road, Pineview Ln from ththththth a point 180 feet north of 13 Ave to 15 Ave, Oakview Ln from 15 Ave to 11 Ave, 12 th Ave from Oakview Ln to Kirkwood Ln, 11 Ave from Pineview Ln to Magnolia Ln, thth Magnolia Ln from 11 Ave to 12 Ave, Kirkwood Ln from the Hwy 55 Frontage Road to th Magnolia Ln, Hwy 55 Frontage Road from 15 Ave to Cottonwood Ln, Ives Ln south of the Hwy 55 Frontage Road, Forestview Ln south of the Hwy 55 Frontage Road, nd Cottonwood Ln south of the Hwy 55 Frontage Road, 32 Ave from East Medicine Lk Blvd nd to a point 205 feet east of Saratoga Ln, Saratoga Lan from 32 Ave to a point 150 feet nd south, Union Terrace south of 32 Ave, East Medicine Lk Blvd from the driveway th entrance to 3110 East Medicine Lk Blvd to Medicine Ridge Road, 30 Avenue east of thth East Medicine Lk Blvd, 24 Ave from Lancaster Ln to Kilmer Ln, 17 Ave west of Kilmer th Ln, and Nathan Ln south of 10 Ave by reconstruction of streets, installation of concrete curb and gutter, water main, and storm sewer, sanitary sewer repairs, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 12th day of May, 2020, in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing.
