R ESOLUTION N O. 2020-112
R ESOLUTION R EJECTING A LL B IDS AND R ESCINDING P REVIOUSLY
A PPROVED R ESOLUTIONS FOR THE 2020
S TREET R ECONSTRUCTION P ROJECT (ST209001)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2020 Street
Reconstruction Project, bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to State
law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement:
Total Base Bid + Alternates 1-3
Contractor
Northwest Asphalt, Inc. $12,640,692.20
Engineer’s Estimate $10,423,634.66
WHEREAS, the second action of Resolution 2020-057 declared April 14, 2020 as
the date of the public improvement hearing for the project; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 2020-059 declared the costs to be assessed for the
project and ordered preparation of the assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 2020-060 declared April 14, 2020 as the date of the
assessment hearing for the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. All bids for the 2020 Street Reconstruction Project are rejected.
2. Resolutions 2020-059, 2020-060, and the second action of resolution
2020-057 are rescinded.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 24th day of March, 2020.
