R ESOLUTION A PPROVING P LANS AND S PECIFICATIONS, AND O RDERING
A DVERTISEMENT FOR B IDS FOR THE S CHMIDT L AKE R OAD AND
Z ACHARY L ANE P AVEMENT R EHABILITATION P ROJECT (ST209005)
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on March 24, 2020, the City Engineer has
prepared plans and specifications for improvement No. ST209005, the improvement of the Schmidt Lake Road
and Zachary Lane Pavement Rehabilitation Project which includes Schmidt Lake Road from Northwest Boulevard
to Nathan Lane, Zachary Lane from Rockford Road to Bass Lake Road, Pineview Lane from Schmidt Lake Road to

53 Avenue, and Niagara Lane south of 45 Avenue by mill and overlay of bituminous pavement, reclamation of
bituminous pavement, replacement of concrete curb and gutter, water repairs, sewer repairs, and all necessary
appurtenances, and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof, are
approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in QuestCDN an
advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such approved plans and
specifications. The advertisement shall be published two times, shall specify the work to be done,
shall state that bids will be received online at QuestCDN until 10:00 a.m. on April 23, 2020 at which
time they will be publicly viewed in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building
at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the engineer and City Clerk, will then be
tabulated, and will be considered by the council at 7:00 p.m. on May 26, 2020, in the Council
Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is questioned during consideration of the bid will be
given an opportunity to address the Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be
considered unless sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's
check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the amount of such
bid.
