R ESOLUTION O RDERING P RELIMINARY E NGINEERING R EPORT FOR THE
S CHMIDT L AKE R OAD AND Z ACHARY L ANE P AVEMENT
R EHABILITATION P ROJECT (ST209005)
WHEREAS, the 2020-2029 Capital Improvement Program made recommendations for the
Schmidt Lake Road and Zachary Lane Pavement Rehabilitation Project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to undertake a Preliminary Engineering Report to determine work
required on each street recommended to be considered for the Schmidt Lake Road and Zachary Lane
Pavement Rehabilitation Project (ST209005); and
WHEREAS, the recommended project area includes Schmidt Lake Road from Northwest
Boulevard to Nathan Lane, Zachary Lane from Rockford Road to Bass Lake Road, Pineview Lane from
rdth
Schmidt Lake Road to 53 Avenue, and Niagara Lane south of 45 Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the City Engineer is instructed to prepare a Preliminary Engineering Report with all
convenient speed by advising the Council, in a preliminary way, as to whether the proposed
improvements are feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with
some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended
APPROVED by the City Council on this 24th day of March, 2020.
