R ESOLUTION D ESIGNATING M UNICIPAL S TATE A ID S TREETS,
E XTENSION OF H IGHWAY 169 S ERVICE D RIVE (MSAS 189) FROM S CHMIDT
L AKE R OAD TO 51 ST A VENUE N ORTH AND E XTENSION OF S HELARD
P ARKWAY (MSAS 177) FROM S OUTH B OUND 169 E NTRANCE
AND E XIT R AMPS TO H IGHWAY 169
WHEREAS, it is recommended to the City Council that the streets hereinafter described shall
be designated as Municipal State Aid (MSA) streets under the provisions of Minnesota Law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the following streets are designated as MSA streets:
1. Extension of MSAS 189 - Highway 169 Service Drive from Schmidt Lake Road to 51st
Avenue North (0.27 miles)
2. Extension of MSAS 177 - Shelard Parkway from South Bound Highway 169 Entrance & Exit
Ramps to Highway 169 (0.08 miles)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized and directed forthwith to forward
two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for consideration, and
that upon approval of the designation of said roads or portions thereof, that the same be constructed,
improved, and maintained as Municipal State Aid streets.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 24th day of March, 2020.
