Pursuant to due tail and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 20th day
of May , 19 74 . The following members were present: mayor
H e. Dunt men Hunt, Neils and Spaeth
The following members were absent: ___-Councilman Seibold
Councilman Neils introdu.:ed the following Resolution and
moved tadoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74-257
APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS - PROJECT NO. 304
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution passed by the Council on January 28, 1974, the
consulting engineer, Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc., retained
for the purpose, has prepared plans ane specifications for the improvement of
streets in the Hughes 1st and 2nd Additions and the Roger L. Johnson Addition
by the installation of sanitary sewer, water, streets and drainage facilities
and necessary appurtenances, and has presented such plans and specifications
to the Council for approval,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and
in The Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such
improvement under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall
be published for two days, shall specify the work to be done., shall state that
bids will be received by the Clerk until 10:00 A.M. on June 14, 1974, at which
time they will be publicly opened in the Council Chambers of the City Hall,
located at 14900 23rd Avenue North, by the City Manager and City Engineer,
will then be tabulated and will be considered by the Council at 7:30 P.M. on
June 17, 1974 in the Council Chambers; and that no bids will be considered unless
sealed and filed with the clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashiers check,
bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for 5% of the amount of such: bid.
