Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the__20th day of

Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and moved
is adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74-253
REVISING STORM DRAINAGE PLAN
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Storm Drainage Plan, dated March 19, 1973 and adopted by
the City Council on August 6, 1973, incorporated the following areas lying generally
north of the Soo Line Railroad right-of-way and approximately 1320 feet west of
County Road 18; SWC of SE4 of Section l; SE4 of SW -14 of Section 1, NE% of NW4 of
Section 12 lying north of railroad; and NW4 of NE4 of Section 12 lying north of
railroad; into the New Hope drainage district which would drain easterly into
New Hope and northerly to Shingle Creek, and
WHEREAS, a re-evaluation of the New Hope drainage district was made in light of
the proposed Northwestern Bell Addition as well as Improvement Project No. 403, and
WHEREAS, it was determined because of the flat terrain lying northerly of the Soo
Line Railroad right-of-way that pond NHP -4 could be outletted northwesterly to
Bass Creek rather than southerly underneath the railroad right-of-way and eventually
underneath County Road 18 into New Hope with no adverse affects on either the New
Hope drainage district or the Shingle Creek drainage district,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMUUTH,
that the storm drainage plan for Plymouth dated March 19, 1973 and adopted by the
City Council on August 6, 1973 is hereby revised deleting the following areas
lying generally north of:;the Soo Line track and approximately 1320 feet west of
County Road 18 from the New Hope outlet district and adding them to the Shingle
Creek outlet district:
SW4 of SE4 of Section 1
Sc4 of SWh of Section 1
NE4 of N6, of Section 12 lying north of railroad
1144 of NE4 of Section 12 lying north of railroad
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Council-
man Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon,the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils and Spaeth. The following voted against or
abstained: none. Whereupon, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
