CITY OF PLYMOUTH
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on t e 22nd day of
April 19 74 . The following members were present -

Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved
its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 74-211
ADOPTING ASSESSMENT - PROJECT NO. 134 - COMMERCIAL -INDUSTRIAL PROPERTIES
6TH, 10TH AND COUNTY ROAD 18
WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the Council
has met and heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed assessment for
the improvement of 6th Avenue North and 10th Avenue North from Nathan Lane to
County Road 18 and County Road 18 from 6th Avenue to 10th Avenue by the installa-
tion of sanitary sewer, water, streets and necessary appurtenances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such proposed assessment, a revised copy of which is attached hereto and made
a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment
against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein included is
hereby found to be benefitted by the proposed improvement in the amount of the
assessment levied against it.
2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments extending over
a period of ten years, the first of the installments to be payable on or
before the first Monday in January, 1975 and shall bear interest at(:the rate
of 8% per annum from the date of the adoption of this assessment resolution.
To the first installment shall be added interest on the entire assessment
from the date of this resolution until December 31, 1974. To each subsequent
installment when due shall be added interest for one year on all unpaid
installments.
The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior to certification
of the assessment to the County Finance Director, pay the whole of the assess-
ment on such property with interest accrued to the date of payment to the City
Treasurer except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment
is paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and he may, at
any time thereafer, pay to the County Treasurer, the entire amount of the
assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to December 31, of the year
I n which payment is made.
4. The Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment
to the County Finance Director to be extended on the proper tax lists of
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by
Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted
in favor thereof: Councilmen Hunt, Neils and Seibold. The following voted
against or abstained: Mayor Hilde. Whereupon the resolution was declared
duly passed and adopted.
