HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-176W W CITY OF PLYMOUTi: Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the lgt day of April 1914_. The followingmemters were present: Mayer ng members were absent: none Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved s adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-176 SITE PLAN APPROVAL - BEL -MAR BUILDERS, INC. - INDUSTRIAL BUILDIK-3 WHEREAS. Bel -Mar Builders, Inc. has requested site plan approval for a building to be located on Lot 1, Block 1 of proposed Bel -Mar's Industrial Park, and WHEREAS, the Plymouth City Planning Commission has reviewed said site plan and recommended approval, NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the request of Bet -Mar Builders, Inc. for site plan approval of industrial building on Lot 1, Block 1 of proposed Bel -Mar's Industrial Park south of proposed 21st Avenue and east of Fernbrook Lane (plan dated January.25, 1974) be hereby approved subject to the following conditions: 1. That the recommendations of the Fire Chief, as shown on the site plan relative to fire hydrant placement, be required. 2. That a joint private drive to Fernbrook not be allowed to serve this property and the property directly south. 3. That the recommendation of the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission, i.e. to accept a cash donation of $3,400 be required in lieu of land. 4. That a parking setback variance be granted (10 feet) on the east side of site to allow right angle parking along the entire east row of the parking lot and a driveway be constructed to Cheshire Lane at the SE corner of the parking lot. 5. That all storage of waste, garbage and materials be within the building. 6. That no variances be permitted for sign placement and that final sign design be submitted to the Director of Planning and Community Development for his approval. 7. That a landscape bond be posted and a completion date established prior to a building permit being issued. 8. That any users of the building requiring a Conditional Use Permit make Resolution No. 74-176 Page Two an application to the City prior to occupancy. • The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote bei..g taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following voted against or abstained: none. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
