Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a —Sp ��� meeting of the City
Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was ftieid on the 20;th day of

Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved

RESOLUTION NO. 74-173
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS
PROJECT'NO. 305 - VICKSBURG LANE STREET IMPROVEMENT -
FROM COUNTY ROAD 6 TO COUNTY ROAD 15
WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council adopted the 11th day of February, 1974
fixed a date for a Council hearing on the proposed improvement of Vicksburg Lane
from County Road 6 to County Road 15 by installation of grading, based, bituminous
surfacing, concrete curb and gutter, storm drainage facilities and all necessary
appurtenances,
AND WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications
of the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon on the 26th day
of March, 1974, at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity
to be heard thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resoltuion
adopted March 26th, 1974, subject to approval of the proposed 40 foot
wide roadway by the State Aid Engineer, which would then qualify the
project for MSA funds.
2. That the project shall be designed on the basis of a 40 foot urban section
with concrete curb and gutter, 9 ton, water and sanitary sewer improvements,
storm sewer and sidewalk on the west side of the street only. The center
line of the street shall be shifted to the east so as to provide sufficient
room for a boulevard area between the sidewalk and west curb line to
provide adequate room for snow storage. This shall be accomc,-lished by
shifting the center line of the street approximately 6 feet +.o the east;
and further, to consider the possibility of a 44 foot section north of
the railroad right of way.
3. Bonestron, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates is hereby designated as the engineer
for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the
making of such improvement.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resoltuion was duly seconded by
Councilman Hunt, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils and Seibold. The following
voted against or abstained: none. Councilman Spaeth had left the meeting.
Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
