HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1974-167DCITY OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 18th day of March, 1974. The following members were present: Acting Mayor Hunt, Council- men Neils and Seibold. The following members were absent: Mayor Hilde and Councilman Spaeth. Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 74-167D RE -SCHEDULING HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 407 - 25TH AVENUE WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted December 17, 1973, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik and Associates, Inc. with reference to the improvement of 25th Avenue between Magnolia Lane and approximately 1150 feet west thereof by the con- struction of bituminous street and necessary appurtenances, and this report was received by the Council February 25, 1974, and WHEREAS, the Council adopted Resolution No. 74-103, Receiving Report and Calling Hearing en Improvement No. 407, 25th Avenue, and WHEREAS, the Public Hearing was held on the 11th day of March, 1974, and WHEREAS, following the Public Hearing it was discovered that the notice of Public Hearing was not published in the official city news- paper twice as provided for in the Minnesota Statutes, Sec. 429.031. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH: 1) The Council will consider the improvement of such street in -accordance with the report and the assessment of abutting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sections 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Ch. 398 as amended) at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $27,020.00. Resclutior, No. 74-1670 Page Two 2) The Public Hearing is re -scheduled and shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 15th day of April, 1974 in the Council Chambers of the City Public Works Garage, 14900 -23rd Avenue North. Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:30 P. M. and the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Acting Mayor Hunt, Councilmen Neils and Seibold. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
